Is your fridge not cooling properly? There are a few possible reasons that your fridge might not work optimally:
- Product excess: Check if the amount of products is in accordance with the maximum capacity of your Fridge. Too many products will affect the air flow inside the fridge, making it less efficient. Be sure to also remove excess packaging (cardboard etc) from the fridge to ensure air flow.
- Door is not closed properly: Check if there is any object preventing from closing the door, and rearrange the products in it if necessary. Check the gasket around the door to make sure it's sealing properly.
- Door open too often: Your refrigerator needs time with the door fully closed to finish freezing. If possible, leave the door closed for at least 2 hours, and reopen it only when necessary.
- Blocked air circulation: Check if the air vents at the bottom are covered by products. If the vents are covered, move products aside.
- Unregulated temperature control: Adjust the cooling intensity according to the amount of products in it and according to the ambient temperature.
- New fridge: If your fridge is new and you recently unpacked it, wait for at least 9 hours for the product to finish properly cooling.
